Miss Devyn continues to grow in confidence and as a partner in our classes. She is really enjoying getting to hang out in her crate and watch the other dogs working while we wait for our class. Today MeiLi was a bit unfocused at class. She did do an amazing job on her wraps from the Aframe to the tunnel on both runs that we did that course. Her start line and focus on the start of the runs continues to be an issue. Today Devyn had another great day at class. She is getting very comfortable in the building waiting for her class and has much more confidence running in the ring. I am able to maneuver around the building and into the ring as needed without her reacting to anything. Today we got to play with the senior league course from the past week. MeiLi had another strong class. She even handler the rear cross weaves very well. Just a bobble at the end. If this was a real run, I would have handled the ending very differently. I messed up on recording her one other run. Today several of the students had issues so we got less turns in this class.

This is their second run together on this course. MeiLi is a much faster dog than Kristen is used to running but man she is getting good at it. I know that when I am away, they will be able to enter and succeed at trials without me. I look forward to seeing many more videos.

This was such a great weekend. Starting with day of SpeedWay. Followed by this fun “games” day of agility. The Jackpot did exactly what I had hoped, and most teams did very well on it. I have a couple of ideas for things to build off of this concept. Snooker ran well with several people having great runs. Overall, I was very pleased with this set of courses. I hope everyone else enjoyed them.

Today was our regular weekly class training. It was a fun course with a few handler options along the way. MeiLi struggled a bit with one turn the first run but was a pretty good pup overall. I like the progress on commitment to obstacles. She struggled a bit with the weaves on the last run but I think that was just thinking through the upcoming challenge on the course.

Here we are doing a little training with Devyn on the teeter and weaves. I am hearing that Devyn will not weave in her private classes and that it is assumed that she does not know how to weave. This was a super tough course that Betsi gave us to run this week. We were certainly testing our skills as a team. I was thrilled to get a nice lead out from the table, a piece of equipment, we train very little. She was responsive to my cues, and handling and I am very proud of the results during this class.
