MeiLi Backyard Training August 7, 2023
Today we got back to doing a little backyard training as I prepared to launch the new Facebook CPE Agility and SpeedWay skills page. This page will be a win-win for us as it will force me to train my girl on a more regular basis here at home. She loves to work and cuddled all evening after her few minutes of work. Today was all about showing up. I have a bum knee and really did not “feel” like going to class. MEILI CLASS 7-25-23
Today MeiLi was a bit unfocused at class. She did do an amazing job on her wraps from the Aframe to the tunnel on both runs that we did that course. Her start line and focus on the start of the runs continues to be an issue. Perhaps part of the issue is on my part of not giving every command needed and assuming she is going to do what I expect. we will need

MEILI CLASS 7-18-23 SENIOR LEAGUE COURSE
Today we got to play with the senior league course from the past week. MeiLi had another strong class. She even handler the rear cross weaves very well. Just a bobble at the end. If this was a real run, I would have handled the ending very differently. I messed up on recording her one other run. Today several of the students had issues so we got less turns in this class.

MEILI & KRISTEN LEAGUE JULY 15, 2023, RUN 2
This is their second run together on this course. MeiLi is a much faster dog than Kristen is used to running but man she is getting good at it. I know that when I am away, they will be able to enter and succeed at trials without me. I look forward to seeing many more videos.

While I was away on Long Island judging CPE for the Dog Club of Long Island the girls were home playing league. These two are really starting to work as a team as long as I am not nearby. MeiLi really likes the game and is becoming more and more focus with each run.

MEILI ONGOING CLASS TRAINING JULY 11, 2023
Today MeiLi had another solid class with Betsi Hartman. She continues to grow as a teammate and overcome her other mental focus issues. This week we got three runs. One was working on a Serpentine, followed by a threadle back to the beginning and then a sprint around the world and back to the front of the ring. MEILI SCAT SPEEDWAY SLINGSHOT RUN 7-8-23
Meili got to do a little SpeedWay at SCAT this weekend. This would be her first time running in a totally new place to her. I was extremely pleased how she handled the environment. We did not get a video of her best run but this one was pretty nice as well. The other Slingshot run she actaully got the triple multiplier for 87 points.
