MeiLi & Devyn’s Training

On this page we will capture all of our training adventures with these two pups. We hope you enjoy following their training adventures both the good and the setbacks that we experience along the way. I will do my best to keep this updated so you can see the progress and failures that we experience and perhaps our experiences will help you with your pups.

This is MeiLi’s video to complete the master’s level title in Novice. To earn this title, you dog most do 30 total tricks all from the Novice trick list. Again, Devyn has also completed this title.  Now we all move on to Intermediate tricks.

We really enjoyed doing Trickvent 2020. It was a last second thing and not as well planned out as it should have been.  But we have decided to continue the basic concept and grow into something better for our pups for 2022.  Trickvent was very good for the pups bonding, and learning, as well as body awareness! The challenge this year is to work on a new trick, or to improve a trick and to hopefully share our progress over the course of a week or so training.  It may also be stringing a group of “tricks” together into something a bit more complex.  We are hoping to create a record of our training across various dog sports and share them as we go. We know a bunch of us have young pups right now and we would love for you to join us in posting you own Tricktacular 2022! Anyone wanting to play but needing assistance in training can reach out and we will try to point you in the right direction.  The Old Space! Sorry for the delay in starting our post on Tricktacular 2022. We have been busy fixing up our training to give us a better place to work the pups. We just finished up the big repairs and painting today and are happy to be back working the pups. Then, The new Space! All the holes are repaired, the room is now a lighter fresher color, and the trim is all back to white. New blinds in the windows and some family photos are up on the wall. Still a few things to do but so happy to be back in our space.  The Old Space The New Space https://3ddogsnj.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Devyn-Spelling-1.mp4 Devyn Spelling her name. Sorry the lighting still needs a lot of work. We are working on that and a better way to mount our camera so the view will be better. This is Devyn starting a trick title for That’s My Name! | Do More with Your Dog!  The goal is to do 25 tricks that spell out your dog’s name.  Meili spells her name.We did all 25 required tricks for this fun title That’s My Name! | Do More With Your Dog!. Our video is submitted for review. We will be continuing to work on these tricks to clean them up. This was a lot on her 9-month birthday. Meili was super happy to be back playing in her happy room.
